Meet Female Phenom Chandler Mang
Lake Villa Fall Ball Has a New Look

There isn’t a baseball player out there who wouldn’t envy Chandler‘s stats. Two grand slams in the past two weeks! One of these was measured at 210 feet. Twelve strikeouts for five innings pitched. That is an average two strikeouts per inning!

But wait, there’s more. When she’s not wowing everyone with those grand slams, Chandler can usually be found on base after hitting a single, double, triple, or another 210 foot home run.

Chandler is blessed with both great hitting and pitching skills, and as a result, is turning heads when it comes to the game of youth baseball. Oh, and Chandler is a girl, a 10 year old girl from Lindenhurst. The traditional "boys of summer" just might have to redefine themselves.

She is currently playing Lake Villa Fall Ball. Next summer she will be a member of the Lake Villa Defenders travel team.

Chandler, who along with her twin brother has played the game since turning six, loves baseball and wants to take her skills as far as she can. To make that happen, she works on being the best that she can be at BatSpeed with veteran instructor Bob Zacher.

Do You Know Someone Who Deserves to be in
BatSpeed’s Player Spotlight?

BatSpeed would love to turn its spotlight on a local player who has done something exceptional in a team situation or, just as important, has achieved a personal best on an individual level.

Make your recommendation directly to BatSpeed owner, Scott Czerniejewski, either in person, by phone (847.855.0220) or via e-mail to info@batspeedacademy.com.

All recommendations will be given serious consideration and each individual who gets the spotlight turned on them will appear on BatSpeed’s website for not less than 2 weeks.
