BatSpeed has put together a staff of baseball
and softball instructors whose breadth and depth has been
specifically designed to help players reach their maximum
potential. Each instructor has
a proven track-record and ability to motivate, guide, and
develop a player whether it is in a one-on-one or small
group setting.
Emphasis is placed on game fundamentals
followed by progressive instruction which includes the
finer points of the game as well as building confidence
and leadership skills.
Getting the Most out of Private Instruction |
Step One
Let Scott Czerniejewski, BatSpeed’s owner, personally
recommend an instructor based on his knowledge of
each instructor’s strengths, the player’s age, level
of playing experience, offensive/defensive skills
and personal goals.
Step Two
Each player is given a thorough evaluation to assess
his/her natural abilities and talents, and how
these can be enhanced. In the case of younger
boys and girls, careful consideration is given
to physical and mental development levels to insure
that the instructional level is age-appropriate.
Step Three
Once the evaluation is complete and instruction
begins, complete logs are kept of every session.
With younger children, parents are encouraged
to inquire about their child’s progress and learn
what they can do on the home front to further
build confidence and leadership skills. |
Players are strongly encouraged to stay with a single
coach to maximize progress with continuity of instruction.
However, BatSpeed’s broadly experienced staff offers the
opportunity to sample other teaching techniques and perspectives.
