BatSpeed Academy is a brand new, baseball and softball academy
which opened in Gurnee, IL in June, 2008. This 17,800 square
foot, air conditioned, year-round indoor facility is
conveniently located in the Tri-State Business Park immediately
west of Six Flags Theme Park®. Ample parking is available
directly adjacent to the facility. The facility features
state-of-the-art equipment including video
analysis and speed & agility
training.
Local owner Scott Czerniejewski,
36, not only oversees daily operations, but also has put
together a fifteen person instructional
staff who, along with himself, have solid teaching credentials.
In recognition of the increasing popularity of fast-pitch
softball, three members of the staff have in-depth, softball
teaching credentials.
Every member of the staff is committed to providing instruction
which is custom-tailored to the physical abilities, needs
and goals of the individual player. The objective is to make
that individual the very best he or she can be.
All ages are welcome... from the youngster just learning
the fundamentals to the high school and collegiate player
looking to take their game to the next level. Teams will
also find BatSpeed’s flexible layout useful for infield practice
in addition to hitting and pitching practice.
Scott, whose passion for baseball began as a child, will
be the first to tell you he is living
his dream with the
opening of this new baseball and softball academy. He invites
everyone who shares his love of the game to experience BatSpeed.
